How to find exactly what you're looking for and filter out the rest.
Keywords
When you create a search, you add keywords that describe what you're looking for. A listing only matches if its title contains all of your keywords.

The first listing matches because it contains all three keywords. The second is missing "holo" and the third is missing "pokemon".
Multi-word keywords like base setmatch as a phrase - the words "base" and "set" must appear next to each other.
Exclude Words
Sometimes your keywords match listings you don't want. Exclude words let you filter those out. If a listing title contains any of your exclude words, it gets hidden.

What's Already Filtered
Every search automatically filters out common noise so you don't have to. This includes:
- Other card games - Yu-Gi-Oh, Dragon Ball, One Piece, Weiss Schwarz, etc.
- Other franchises - Digimon, Gundam, Transformers, etc.
- Non-card items - figures, plush, towels, deck shields
- Recent years - 2020-2028 (helps when searching for vintage)
You don't need to add any of these as exclude words yourself.
Japanese Markets
Discover monitors Japanese marketplaces like Yahoo Auctions, Mercari, and Mandarake. You don't need to type anything in Japanese - your English keywords are automatically translated.

Exclude words are translated too. If you exclude "One Piece", Japanese listings with "ワンピース" are also filtered out.

Best Practices
Be as specific as possible
The more keywords you add, the more precise your results. A search for just charizard will match thousands of listings - cards, plush toys, shirts, posters. Adding pokemon charizard holo narrows it down to what you actually want.
Use excludes to cut the noise
After creating a search, check your matches. If you see listings that aren't relevant, look for the word they have in common and add it as an exclude. For example, if your search for pokemon promo keeps matching promotional posters, add poster as an exclude. Repeat until your results are clean.
Keep your alerts high signal
Alerts are most useful when every notification is something you'd actually want to buy. If you're getting too many alerts for things you don't care about, tighten your keywords or add more excludes. A well-tuned search might only alert you a few times a week - but every alert matters.
Capitalization doesn't matter
"Charizard", "charizard", and "CHARIZARD" all work the same way. Same goes for accents - "Pokémon" matches "Pokemon".
